The power of the internet and Rugby Club networking is amazing. I belong to The Roehampton Club in London, a golf, tennis and all round sports club and whilst talking to a member about Rugby I mentioned that in my youth I was friendly with a Wasps player. He asked who and when I told him your name he said he knew you. I was absolutely stunned. So stunned that I dug deep in to my photograph collection to find a picture of you to show him and sure enough he recognised you. He does not think you will remember him but his name is Allan Hughes. He lives for Rugby and when I saw him this week he said he had your email address. I then mentioned this to my sister, Rosemary, who is a computer expert and she found this website !!!! Being President of the Florida Rugby Union has put you on the world stage. I am pleased to see you are still very involved with Rugby and I hope you are able to watch our Rugby. Perhaps you have been watching the 6 nations on again this weekend. I am sure you keep in touch with international Rugby. Once I receive your email from Allan I will write to you as it would be lovely to hear about your life since I last saw you in 1973/74 when I believe you were working for Foote Cone Belding in Baker Street and I had just moved from Metal Box to RCA Corportation in Curzon Street. In all of my travels I have never such a poor display discipline on the field except for the San Mateo Rugby Club in California.
