We have a new practice site for the upcoming season. We could not get Lake Island Park unless we practiced on Monday and Wednesday’s. So we will be practicing on some new fields on the east side of Showalter Field that are next to Cady Way Pool. We can start practice at 7:30 to 9:30 on January 3rd.
It’s time to hit the streets and start selling seats and sponsors to anyone you can!!!!Remember EVERY player is responsible for bring one other NON rugby golfer. If we can achieve this VERY SIMPLE GOAL we can make the golf tournament a successful event.We only have two months to pull this off so start your sales efforts today. Try to contact three possible prospects each day. Approach the restaurant where you eat lunch, family members, co-workers, etc. This is not a hard task if you will just engage a few people each day. Simple Answer:
#1 Satisfy your current Dues requirement. (Pay your Dues)
#2 Your Previous years Dues have to have been Paid in Full.
#3 Your Volunteer Hours have to be competed and recorded
#3 is still a new program that is not yet “Up and Running” . We are going to propose requiring all memmbers to complete 10 hours of “volunteer” work per each 1/2 season OR pay $10.00 per hour to satisfy the requirement.Exec members will be exempt from this portion of the requirement.
