As of today, Monday, November 26th, we are looking at five teams participating in the 4th annual “olde boys in the sun” rugby tournament. Due to the odd number of teams and only one day to run the tournament, we will play a round robin tournament, playing 20 minute halfs. The team with the best record or points score vs. given-up, will be crowned the champion. Every team will play four games with one bye. All players need to be at the field at 8am to prepare for our first game at 9am. Also each player will need to bring $50 to pay their dues for ‘Old Boys’ even if you paid dues for the Orlando Team since this is a totally separate account.Please review the schedule below.

There will be a lot of rugby this week and especially this weekend with Orlando hosting the Senior Men’s All Star Championships and the annual Old Boys Tournament.
YOUTH
Winter Park Warriors Youth team will be holding a fall camp from now through December 15th to coincide with the NSW Australian Team Tour to Florida. These sessions will be held every night from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Lake Island Park except on Thursday where it will be held at Sylvan Lake Park with the WP Warriors holding a scrimmage against the NSW side.
A coaching clinic will be held by the Australian coaches on Wednesday at Lake Island Park from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and ORFC Men’s and Women’s are invited to attend.
ALL STAR CHAMPIONSHIPS
ORFC will be hosting the USA Rugby All Star Championships this weekend and we will need as many volunteers as possible to help setup and run the event. We will be holding training at Sylvan Lake Park on Thursday and we’ll need all the help we can get on Thursday afternoon setting up fields starting at 2:00pm. ALL players are needed throughout the weekend for assistance in running the matches and Old Boys tourney. Starting each morning at 7:45 AM until the last match is over and to help breakdown the fields on Sunday.

OLD BOYS TOURNAMENT
The Old Boys Tourney will be next Saturday, December 8 at Sylvan Lake Park starting at 9am.
All players planning on playing will NEED to be at practice at Lake Island Park (behind Spatz) on Tuesday at 7:00pm to prepare for the games and Thursday’s practice being held at Sylvan Lake Park to train and also help prepare the fields for the All Star Championships.
