The Orlando Men’s team travelled with very light numbers to Tampa on Saturday with a determined team. Through the first half they battled to keep the score to 0-10 to Tampa. As the game progressed the level of fitness showed and slowed the team to lose in the final 0-29 to Tampa. Some great hard tackling by Nate Spears was well noted as he was the man of the match. Although this was a loss, it was a great success for some players starting the first game. The team looks forward to the rest of the season and has shown some good commitment towards our new coach Jason Van Wyk. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at both practices this week to do some hard work for next weeks game at home against Brevard.
