The Orlando Women traveled to Jacksonville this weekend to play against the Jacksonville Sinners. The field was inhabited with West Indians playing cricket but at 11:30 they left the field for the game.
Rookie Leigh Souter scored one try while Sara Burhans scored a total of two tries. Sally Lanigan played a defensive and aggressive game providing assistance for at least three of the tries. Danielle Brown paid us a visit scoring 3 tries throughout the game. Kelly Bober received almost every single kick throughout the game and got into every rock imaginable. The games injuries were several but minimal.
The Orlando Women beat the Jacksonville sinners 58 – 0.
The women will be traveling to Savannah this weekend to defend their title for the St. Patrick’s Day Tournament
